Maybe it’s a rendering of your family’s coat of arms that’s been passed down for generations, or maybe you want to create a new crest to symbolize your family today — a digitized hand-drawn, print-ready crest is necessary to create an engraving or blind embossing die, which can then be transformed into the invitation or stationery of your dreams. And it’s not just for paper! The supplied vector file can also be used for embroidery, cocktail napkins, lighting gobos, or any other wedding or family branding. If you’re looking for a full-color version, either for printing or to hang on your wall, gouache family crests are also an option!

The price for a crest varies based on the level of detail, but the range is typically $250-350 for a black and white digital vector file. For a watercolor crest, the range is $150-200 (for a hard copy and/or a color digital vector file). A $100 deposit is required to start the design process, and it’s helpful if you send me any samples that you particularly like, either from my portfolio or elsewhere. The first round of edits is included, as well as any technical edits required by the printer, and subsequent revisions are $50 each. Once the design is finalized, I’ll send you a black and white vector file for printing with an invoice for the remainder of the cost.
